Ufora CEO Braxton McKee delivers talk at NYC Machine Learning Meetup

Braxton spoke about the challenges of figuring out how to lay out data across the machines in a cluster for a given computation. For example, when a user wants to run a linear regression on 100GB of data, we need to figure out how to automatically distribute that data across the machines in the cluster in order to minimize travel over the wire. We approach this problem with a number of interesting machine learning techniques.
